Mechanical Face Seals

The mechanical face seals are specially designed to seal the lubricant, excluding contamination in rotating applications in the most adverse conditions such as mud, rocks, sand, water, high and low temperatures, etc.


Mechanical surface seals or heavy duty seals are specially designed for rotating applications in critical environments.


The seals are composed of two metal rings, one static and one rotary, with high hardness that use the contact between mirror surfaces to ensure static and dynamic sealing; these are compressed and centered by two tension rings made of rubber that is resistant to oil and wear.


Rotational speed, lubricant type, operating temperature and pressure are factors to consider when determining the load on the seal.
